What are your hours?

Our restaurant is open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday.

Where do I park?

We have parking behind the restaurant (parking lot + parking garage), which can be accessed via the driveway on the south side of the Livestock Exchange Building off of Genessee Street. Street parking is also an option.

Do I need reservations?

We recommend reservations. We also accept walk-ins. Our Chef's Counter and bar seating are first-come, first-served.

Did the menu change when you re-opened?

Yes. In June of 2018, The Golden Ox reopened under new ownership. The revitalized menu reflects a commitment to classic American steakhouse cuisine. We may be unable to accommodate requests for items from past menus.

I have a large group. May I make a reservation?

May I bring my own cake or dessert?

Yes, our cake-cutting fee is $20.

May I bring my own wine?

Yes, we charge a $20/750ml corkage fee. We do not allow outside bottles for any wine currently on our drink list.

Is there a kids menu?

Do you serve cocktails?

Our drink menu showcases a variety of classic craft cocktails. We offer a full bar, and our knowledgeable bartenders can make off-menu cocktails upon request. If we can make it for you, we will make it for you.

Do you offer wine?

In addition to our bottled wine list, we offer a variety of wines by the glass.

Are you handicap accessible?

The Golden Ox is ADA compliant. You can locate handicap accessible parking behind the restaurant.

I have dietary restrictions. Can I still eat at The Golden Ox?

We aim to accommodate for dietary restrictions whenever possible. Please alert us of any allergies/restrictions so that we may help you navigate the menu.

We offer American steakhouse cuisine.

Do you have a Thanksgiving buffet?

The Golden Ox will close for Thanksgiving.

What's new since you reopened?

Though the Golden Ox re-opened under new ownership, we are committed to offering an authentic steakhouse experience with a mid-century vibe.

What is the price point?

We offer a variety of steaks/entrees for all palettes and budgets. Most of our entrees fall in the $18 - $38 price range. We also offer a selection of premium cuts ranging in price from $42 - $72.

I dislike steak. What can I order instead?

We also prepare a variety of non-beef dishes, including fresh chilled seafood, chicken, pork, lamb, and vegetarian options.
